The LUCRA project is entering its scale-up phase, in which all technologies will be integrated and validated at demo-scale. The electrochemical extraction unit developed by HYDROHM has now been installed at the Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant (BBEPP). The system was successfully integrated and connected to the 150 L bioreactor and the ceramic cell recycle unit.
